Biography

Helen Bautista is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with over a decade of experience in long-term care and senior healthcare operations. She began her career in 2014 as a Director of Admissions, where she developed a strong foundation in resident advocacy, census development, and care coordination. Since 2022, she has served as the Administrator at Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation at Hillsborough, where she oversees facility operations, regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care. In addition to her professional leadership role, Helen is deeply committed to community service. For the past five years, she has volunteered as a guardian through Volunteer Guardianship One-on-One, providing advocacy and decision-making support for vulnerable individuals who lack family or other support systems. Helen is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for the individuals she serves, fostering staff development, and promoting compassionate, dignified care environments.

Claudia Ballin, HR Consultant

Biography

Claudia Ballin is an award-winning Human Resources executive and advisor with over 20 years of progressive leadership experience across multi-facility healthcare organizations throughout New Jersey. She partners with executive leadership teams to align enterprise human capital strategy with operational, clinical, and regulatory objectives in highly regulated healthcare environments. Since 2019, Claudia has served as a strategic HR Consultant providing executive oversight and workforce strategy, including consulting throughout New Jersey during organizational transitions, regulatory reviews, and leadership changes. A seasoned Union Strategist, Claudia brings deep expertise in labor relations, workforce risk mitigation, compliance readiness, state surveys and audits, investigations, corrective action management, workforce planning, and organizational transformation. She serves steady executive leadership during mergers, restructurings, reductions in force, and complex workforce challenges. Claudia began her HR career in New York City working with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP before moving to Nielsen Media Research (VNU Inc.), where she expanded her corporate HR experience prior to transitioning into healthcare leadership. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, the arts, and has volunteered her time cooking meals for women’s groups and local shelters.
